The
Church
Stéphanie and Per will join the bands of love at 5 pm, July 9th 1999 in the church Notre Dame de Boulogne. The Catholic wedding will include a number of prayers and declarations, some of which the couple have written to each other. The prayers will be said in French with translations to Swedish and English presented in a distributed program. Some crucial passages may also be translated live. The church is the oldest and most beautiful in Boulogne, a prospering suburb right west of Paris. Sophie, Stéphanie's sister, got married in this church in 1991 and it is a special honour for us to invite you, dear guests, to this ceremony. Some
history for the interested: The church was inaugurated during the 14th
century as one of the many projects initiated by Philip the Beautiful of
France. Due to its proximity to Paris, the church has been visited by such
celebrities as Jeanne d'Arc, Philip V, and even the Pope Sixte V.
